Ways to Prepare Our Heart Before Coming to Church:

1) Prepare our heart BEFORE we get there.

a) Quiet our heart and lay aside distractions before we ever get there.

2) Get out of your group and speak to others.

3) Participate

a) You will get more out of the preaching if you participate: sing, give, pray!

b) Get off the bench.

4) Go to be a blessing, not just to get one.

5) Pray throughout the service for yourself and others.

6) Follow along in the Word of God.

a) Write things down as God speaks to your heart.

7) Respond as God speaks to you.

a) Go to the altar - does something in your heart and helps others.

8) Refuse to be negative.

9) Talk with others about what the Lord did in your heart.

10) Minister gratitude to those who bring you the Word.

There's a responsibility as hearers of the Word of God.
