Misinterpretations of the Need

1) The need stops during hard times.

- The gospel thrives through resistance.

- What in your life are you treating as a stop sign when it's supposed to be a green light?

2) Jesus simply isn't enough.

- The Samaritan women was looking to relationships and other things, but only Jesus satisfies.

3) Going is optional

- Must needs (vs 4) - means absolutely essential

-Same word used in relation to Jesus must die and rise.

-So, the same emphasis on evangelizing (vs. 4)
